Elbows

I finally aqcuired some good elbow blank's for elboe adze's from out my own back hedge. The top one isnt gammy, its just a darker color inside. The handles are about an inch and a half diameter, top one is about16 inch, the bottom one about 21 inch. The blade's are to be made by my local smith, cheaper faster and better result than me fannying about with hammer and tongs

Well at the moment they are just blanks, I reckon leave them at least a year to dry out then do some finer finish with rasp's and sureform's etc. I got the rawhide rope made up for one at least, already.

The blades hopefully will come out of industrial giulottine blade stock, or whatever the smith has that he'll let me into
