Camping in the Mourne Mountains

Does anyone else camp in the Mournes? I'd be interested to hear where - as there's limited forest up there since alot of it was burnt. We have an excellent site which unfortunately I cannot disclose!

I was wondering basically if permission is needed to camp there, and light fires. I would like to find out, and if nessacary, get permission.
