Thanks for that, found it very useful. I've not had a watch for 30+ years but feel i may need to get one for navigation purposes and your review told me a lot about modern watches.

I have a Nite Watch- an MX10- and can verify the quality. Lovely bit of kit that shrugs off abuse and looks brand new three years on. I also have another GTLS watch that bears more than a passing resemblance to the Hawk under review- and less than £100 from the likes of Amazon. Might be an option for those who like the look of the Hawk, but who are seeking a more budget alternative.
