Heard my 1st woodpecker of the year this morning, hopefully might get the wife's new camera a get a snap tomorrow as it was just in a small set of trees near the chicken run.

We're dead lucky. We have a pair of GSW's nest nearby and visit feeders all winter. Heard the male drummin' last weekend. Fantastic sound. Really skittish birds who are well tuned into movement, so if you want a photo, be still and hidden.
