Wanted GRANSFORS BRUK WILDLIFE HATCHET / OLD SHAPE LIKE THE SMALL FOREST AXE

Hi all. I’m looking for a Gransfors Bruk Wildlife Hatchet, but not the kind that is currently on sale. I’m looking for the one that they used to make, before they changed the handle shape. It used to be a smaller version of the Small Forest Axe, but about 15 years ago (i think) they changed it...

    Gransfors Bruks axe sheath

I made this sheath for a Gransfors Bruks small forest axe. The black molded Kydex protects the cutting edge & is much more reliable than leather. The leather "dangler" loop makes it easy to wear the axe on your belt. Also it makes you look really SHARP!!! Grtz, Dimi

GB Small forest axe sheath? Mine broke, and I need a new one.

Hello chaps, earlier today after hours of work with my GB sfa axe the sheath/mask strap broke! I've been pouding with the back of the axe to drive in dozens of thick stakes into the ground and the slackness of the strap must have meant it got hit a few times and it eventually just broke and flew...

A Cheap Alternative to the Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe

We are all familiar with the Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe. It is arguably one of the most popular bushcraft tools, and is the axe of choice for many. One of the reasons why it has become so popular is that it is very compact and easy to carry. It has a head weight of 1.5lb and a handle...

    Knife Handle, Sheath and Pouch

Joining this site inspired me to get out and get building and working on stuff. It all started with a Purchase at Lee Valley of a 4 -1/4" Mora Laminated steel blade and a GB Small Forest Axe. My goal was to make some of my own tools from these so I could make some other items, and to keep...
