I'm just about to have a family get together bushcraft event! It makes a change to set up camp for personal use these days.
I taught a group about Wild Food this morning and now to put an end to a lovely day I am about to cook some homemade organic burgers and have the night off in a...
Great news, and very rewarding! I have been waiting and waiting, and hope to hear news on one soon. I will stick with wild food until I, fingers crossed get one.
Congrats by the way!

I agree, its a very poor year for sloes, and most other berries. However, its a mighty fine year for fungi. Not too great for hazel nuts, although last year was fab, so I didn't expect much around here this year.

It seems to be an odd year for most things. We have had a few or the usual moths and butterflies here, but as you say most are pretty late. Having said that I have seen lots of bees this year, even from Jan!

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the comments. I'm just a keen amateur really and do a little bit for organisations here and there. The competition in photography (as you will already know) is very high so I keep it more as a personal hobby.

Hi Nick,
I use lots of different equipment but most of these were taken with a Nikon D300 and 105mm VR lens. The bluebell shot was taken with a Canon 30D and a Canon 500mm f/4 lens.
Cheers

It's been too windy this year for most macro images and if its not windy its raining. But I did still get a few shots so I wanted to share them with you.
I hope you like them.
Hope you all have a nice weekend.
Take care
Kris
Most of these are good knives. The U2 is great, but small. If you like a knife with a good blade and a nice feel it's worth looking at BUCK knives.
