    I hope this is the right section. Any body tried a solar generator, if so what do you think. I have been looking at a small one just to keep gadgets charged. Jackery, Ecoflow and Bluetti spring to mind, around 300 watt ac outputs.

    Faraday cage

    Just knocked up a faraday cage from an old metal bread tin. Made the lid a good fit and managed to get an electrical fit, and the tin conducts current all round. Now whilst it seems to block mobile phone signals it does not block 2 way radios. I assume there is a good technical reason for this...

    Hi, just joined the forum. Resident in northants and into shooting as a hobby. I also like to collect a few knives. Getting a bit long in the tooth for bushcraft as such but really enjoy walking and some photography. Many thanks.
