Edit: don't burn down ur shed especially with u in it
My varusteleka windproof anorak is probably the best item it's so good that i might get another for nice wear other than that my Berghaus crusader which is good but I'm entirely sure how much it will distribute the load on a long hike i have a pair of British army windproof trousers i love and...
I got one of varustelekas metal wood stoves two weeks ago. I've used it twice once with damp wood in a small fire and the second time with seasoned stuff on both occasions it didn't get very hot but creaked and appears to have warped quite a bit .Am i doing something wrong ? I can still use it...
I've used them before the straps are meant to be used to roll it up (i believe) as for how they perform i wouldn't recommend it they are only partially membraned In a tent maybe but outside rain will leak through you could wax them but honestly i prefer to use a goretex bivi.
I recently bought a windproof anorak from varusteleka and waxed it with greenland wax however i find it catches alot of hairs and dust .Did i do something wrong i used a blowdryer and iron with greaseproof paper and multiple layers of wax . thanks
Pretty good stuff goretex is the best tex any other tex except for maybe sympatex are usually inferior they are also probably tough enough considering the intended use
