But (as I understand it) a reasonable excuse is not just in case you need to cut a sausage or cheese etc.
If I were to travel to UK I would not take any knife other than what would be considered to be an eating utensil. Like this set:
With this I would be able to eat food bought from a food...
I have seen some videos where they stuff too much fuel in the kettle. So that when water is boiling there is still foot long flames coming out of the chimney.
I guess they are trying to prove how fast it can boil water. But who is in a hurry when out and about.
Someone had a photo of a new prototype Ghillie or Kelly, can´t find it. Can we get it here, the photo that is. That one looked quite interesting, I remember.
Nae bother, found it.
Problems with Kelly and Ghillie (for me) is that for lifting off the burner one needs to put the hand above the "chimney" because of the way the handle is constructed.

I use maps.me to download and use maps in my smartphone.
Downloaded maps are stored in your phone and can be used with your smartphones GPS without any phone or internet connection whatsoever. Only connection needed is to the GPS-satellites so in a forrest with thick canopy GPS might not work...
Have to keep in mind it is not the downs that isolate, it is the air that the downs trap. The more compressed downs are the less air in the filling and the lesser air means lesser insulation.
Insulation is all about binding air.
