I've heard that in snowdonia national park is open to people wild camping but wish to know if anyone has experienced this first hand since I'm not too sure.
I'd also like to know if things like small camp fires are permitted and fishing perhaps(and if so can we eat the fish or must we throw...
You do have a point I suppose,i will try and keep an eye out for the big community meets, maybe then me and my mates(one of which is training to be an outdoor activities instructor and is essentially a bushcraft guru skills wise)might get some offers from people to let us use their land.
I live up near Birmingham, one mate lives down by weymouth, best mate lives in Bristol and another lives in swindon.
Lookng for somewhere in that general area or even over in wales that we can do weekenders wild camping in woodland, maybe a spot of hunting/fishing if the land owner will let...
I've been trying to find a place for me and my best mates to go for buchcraft weekenders but have yet to find much luck, preferably somewhere between weymouth and Birmingham since that encompasses the general area we all live, looking for a few acres of woodland that we can make a campfire and...

Just curious since acounts given here may give an insight to what went wrong and thus aid others such as myself in not making those same mistakes,I've asked probabky a dozen or so officers around the UK when I've seen them at cadet parades and the like, most have either said 3" blades were legal...
I'm fairly new to the bushcrafty stuff but am training to be a joiner by trade and am a qualified marksman in the Air Training Corps,to even claim I know anything beyond the bare bones of bushcraft would be a lie if I'm honest with you, hence why I'm here, hopping to learn, also got a best mate who...
