I've just come by some leather from a guy in work..he just got him self a new sofa..so I was wondering if any body has any pattens..? im thinking along the lines of knee lenth with a fold over flap..Robin Hood style

I dont know if any body can help me..I've just come into a bit of leather from a guy in work he got a new sofa..and it's dark green
but what I thought I would do with it was to make a pair of woodland boots..Robin hood style..fold over flap just below the knee..

What I like to do is give my spoons a coat of danish oil and let it dry and then give it two more coats and then take it down with fine wirewool and then finish it off with 2ooo grade wet & dry paper if you look down the spoon you will see a realy nice shine..the more you give the more you...
Why dont you try lino cutting tools..(available from good art suppliers) I've used them and thay are realy good and will give you a nice bowl in no time..thought this may help
I used one of these stoves every day for 7 months and had no real problems with it at all..other than a regular clean to keep it in top health thay are a realy great bit of kit
I did try and use meths in mine but did not have any realy luck with it..so I just stick to unleaded.
but one thing...
For what its worth.. my mum had a carved afrikan head made from ebony which had a large split in the back and she got some advice from a cabenete maker who said thet she should soak it in linseed oil ..which worked..the head never split..
Might sound a bit dumb..Coz I am ..but can you explane the markings on the leather..because I want to make a cover for my ChipChop but I have never done any leatherwork before...this will be my first time so be gentle with me..please
