    You're right of course. It was my mistake to forget that knife laws in the UK are even more restrictive than here in Germany, where we are at least allowed to carry all locking blades as long as they cannot be opened one-handedly.

    Bark river bushcrafter

    I don't own either the BRK Bushcrafter, nor the Aurora (just a Bravo 1 which is very comfortable to use), but I got the chance to handle both side by side for a while. Of the two, I seemed to prefer the Aurora in any possible way. Hope this helps.

    Oh, regarding the F1 that you seem to also consider. I sold that. It's too thick for its size and doesn't perform very well in anything. Just my opinion. I love the A1, though.

    A little late to the party, but yes, +1 for scandi if you're into woodwork and handicraft. If you're more into hunting, full flat may be the way to go, though.
