it depends on the land use and the terain. no point in walking...
Im in the middle of doing an assignment about rights of way for my Countryside management course, problem is i could do with some input form uses of right of way. this is where you guys come in to the rescue
all i need is you to be a user of footpaths and the like and answer a few questions...

i think if i were to do this again i would just add one more piece of leather into the welt.
i did think about a box and wet forming but -
box to complex- has to be simple and small as possible
leather is a bit of nubuck so it dosent wet form very well, its very soft...

this is very sad news.
my mother was on the tube system this time yesterday, it scares me to much to think about what could of happend.
i hope that every one here and there familiys are ok. my thoughts are with the people involved
the top one is a Alan Wood 'Tamarack' bushcraft knife in 01.
the middle one is a Lord Farquhar 'wren' with o1 steel, splated beach and dark brown sheath.
bottom one is a spyderco UKPN for size comparision.
oh and i have been told the reason alan does this hollow grind. it because many of the woodlores he has made have had to be reground due to improper sharpening so to solve this he made the edge slightly hollow.
I have a Alan Wood knife and the edge is the same. well ground the same but is v v sharp all the way along the blade. dont spray the sheath with anything you could desryoy the fit. it will wear into a perfect fit it just takes time.
