I got a Napsack Hammocks tarp, it wasn't really a suprise as I'd bought it myself and then handed it to the Boss to wrap. Also a new lumiglo watch to replace one that got a bit damp due to a trip down the Thames, enjoyed watching my boy open their presents more though.
Hmm, really like Norfolk there's something about the place that just seems to call to me apart from the weather! I think if I wasn't worried about money etc then Jersey would have to be the place, close enough to get to beaches easily so fishing sorted for my retirement and weather much better.
Country boy, grew up with a dad who worked on farms and taught me how to fish and shoot which meant learning about nature a bit. Always loved roaming the woods and fields even when I in turn started working on farms, that just gave me more chances to sit a while and enjoy being out and about...
