    Have you seen or tried the UK vizion 1. It has 2 light settings 3 fillters, Red, Difussed and clear. It is ment to be good down to 10 meters I use mine mostly for walking the dog and it has got very wet sometimes and still works.

    Thank you all with your help. With the "you tube" links I have seen that sticking a small candle in the centre isn't going to work unless the wood has been dried and I think that that has been the broblem. Many thanks again.

    I have heard but not seen of a cross cut log with a night-light in the centre. I have been told that it will burn for some time. I have tried to make one but it didn't work. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong. :campfire:
