I’ve not made it to the shop, but had found them online a while back https://goarmy.co.uk/
And on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/GoArmyVintage (I think I saw the Etsy first then discovered the website is slightly cheaper).
Thank you and thanks to @Mesquite for organising.
A bit of luck and a bit of persistence on this one. One day I’ll catch the cormorant with its wings raised, but I doubt I’ll get another day with the river so calm.
I used to collect them, and have one of these boxes in the loft. For me it was definitely connected with being somewhere and picking one up. You might be able to sell them though I guess.
If I was coming for a month I wouldn’t plan to stay in one place, you could do a week each in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Oban or spread the time across the places where you’re looking at relevant university courses.
That would also mean making the wrong choice for one week is only for...
Hi Mhearadh, I don’t know if this will help, but you could try searching for church first and then see if some of your other requirements work:
This has a list of catholic parishes in Argyll and southern highlands:

The Great Glen Way (Fort William to Inverness) is a nice walk we did a few years back (before kids), not as long as the WHW.Doing it in a week most of the legs were pretty reasonable about 12 miles if I remember.
Also worth looking into the Fife Coastal Path and John Muir Way.
Royal Bank of Scotland
Bank of Scotland
Clydesdale (I don’t think Clydesdale Bank branches exist anymore now they are Virgin Money, but the notes still say Clydesdale)
