    Finnish M65 wool trousers

I got a pair last year. The only criticism I have of them is that they've been far too warm (stupid British weather), and the unlined legs have stripped my knees of the few hairs that they had on them. One of my new year projects is to line the knees somehow. By which I mean, ask my beloved to...

    Everyday uses for a multitool

While cycling in Herefordshire, came across a horse and rider on a green lane. Horse and rider step to the side to let us past. Horse gets rear hoof stuck on old wire fence that had fallen down and was hidden in the grass. Horse falls down with rider. Horse gets back up with rider. Horse falls...

Retro tent- cool or not cool

The plastic tipi style, not the canvas retro.

Retro tent- cool or not cool

Argos were selling them a few years ago, in 3 different sizes. Pretty cheap, looked ok (in the pictures), so I bought the big one. Leaked in the rain, sweaty in the sun, sold it to a friend for a pittance after 2 uses.

    Hubris leads to.................

They're rampant in the ancient wool carpet throughout our house. I swear they've even evolved to live on fleece and other synthetics, going off where I've found the caterpillars. Little #@$£ers...

    Poncho or Waterproofs

I've got a thick (llama?) wool poncho that is a thing of wonder for pottering about camp in. I've also got a goretex DPM poncho to throw over the top of it when watching bands at festivals when it will inevitably pour down. I've also got a thin fleece poncho for inside the tent. I've yet to try...

    Advice on bigger knives.

I've got one of these: https://www.varusteleka.fi/en/product/terava-skrama-bush-knife-carbon-steel/28025 So far* it seems like a good compromise. *bearing in mind I'm an amateur fool who knows nothing...

    bow advice for beginner?!

This is the sort of exercise: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/BackGeneral/DBBentOverRow.html You'd probably want to modify it a bit, so you're pulling across your chest rather than up into your shoulder.

    War Archer!

Obviously. If you're comparing it with the 16k instead of the 48k :)

    War Archer!

No padding under the mail, and it was fairly stretched out as well.

    D&D 5th edition

Not played Pathfinder, but I understand it's 3.5 done right, so should be pretty similar to 5th.

    War Archer!

It's a much better video with the sound turned off. basically, his history and his interpretation is somewhat suspect (to say the least), but he's certainly got talent at shooting stuff from a few yards away. He's also got a talented film editor. The mail armour he shot looked like butted rings...

    D&D 5th edition

So far it's a streamlined 3.5 Not hit any major issues yet, but would have preferred a bit more carried over from 4th Ed (i.e. per round skills, which stops spellcasters being utterly pants).
