Hi all, so the times come to move all our camping stuff, ruck sacks etc out of the house as all our gear takes up to much room. I'll need to put it in the shed but being in Scotland it's cold and damp so how do I keep the gear from going moldy etc? Was thinking off putting one of the garden...

Does anyone use or recommend any good tree, plant etc apps for their phone? I've tried a few but to be honest the pictures etc never seem to match with the trees and I fell it just depends when the picture was took etc!

it will likely be a fresh-ish piece of birch that i will use, shall i just keep the bark on, carve/ burn etc and varnish it? it will most likely be kept indoors or the shed?

i listen to loads of podcasts, and Pauls is the only bushcraft one i listen too.

make sure your knives are sharp, i mean really sharp! to be honest ive really struggled to get my knives sharp enough to carve properly.

teach them ho to use them properly and they will be safe. there knifes, teach them to see them as tools and not weapons!
