Tourniquet advice from a combat medic

For anybody unsure about anything related to CPR, or those who are trained and want to stay up to date. I would recommend signing up to the BRC website as then you will receive updates and information as well as be able to book free refresher courses. https://www.resus.org.uk/ @billycoen...

BcUK fly of the month April 2024

I’ve had a go at making a few of these flies this past week and undone/remade 5 or 6! I’m not sure how close these are to a true Grannom and I tried to use materials I already had, but here are the two best ones.

The time has come the Bushcrafter said.. Light weight rucksacks. Most of my kit is old and ex-military at the age of 70

If you want true lightweight then hyperlight is the brand. Although the comfort I believe will definitely be lacking. I have however said this time and again and will continue to do so. In my humble opinion there is only one option when it comes to manufacturers of rucksacks and that is...

BcUK fly of the month April 2024

I grew up chasing pike on the canal. Probably the most boring water in existence but I actually really miss it a lot! I’m impressed by that wild brown though, I’ve not seen one that big south of Scotland. As Chris says, keep that location to yourself.
