The D3 / D4 drop down tail gate is also a much better option than the Disco 2 side hung door, it makes a great seat and cooking platform and helps support a tarp rigged up across the back of the truck when needed. I cant find it at the moment, but there is a YouTube video of a guy in California...

We are in [sunny] East Suffolk and it didn't work very well here, for them.

Our neighbours built one a few years ago and it now stands at the back of their shed I believe. It was well built and engineered from what I saw but I gather it didn't do the job as well as the indoor electric version. I've emailed him asking for a photo and will post it if / when he responds.

We bought some of these square metal gauze sheets rather than solid silicone plates for ours. These allow the air to circulate more easily and you can dehydrate some very small items without them falling through between the shelf grid. They fir our model really nicely but you could easily cut...
