So, I'm on the verge of buying my 5th sleeping bag (alpkit skyhigh) and I was hoping that you all could comfort me by telling me you all have more :p
So, currently I have
Buffalo 4s outer
Snugpak softie 3 Merlin
Mountain equipment sleep walker 2 (an old one)
And an old Aztec synthetic

So, what sleeping bags do you have, even if they are no longer used (the last 2 on my list don't)¿

was going to buy an alpkit skyhigh 800 too but got a really good deal on a womans blue kazoo which is warmer I think. I use a thin dutch army outer sleeping bag liner/bivy which is breathable but water resistant, it can fit sleeping bag and mat in it so no sliding off mat in night which is good.

I have a Carinthia Defense 4, two Carinthia Tropens (one of each colour) and a Carinthia Eagle. I also have a few others that I will probably look to sell in due course. I'm massively annoyed that my Tropens arrived too late for my latest jungle foray, so I had to use my old British Army jungle bag instead, which was marginally too cold at the highest camp. The Eagle is 400g lighter than a Tropen, so that may well be a contender for my next jungle trip, although I much prefer the roominess of the Tropen.

I also have a few, they do all get used but a couple are spares for guests etc. I'm a bit of a wimp so like to be comfortable and the wife needs lots of encouragement.
PHD Minim ultra lightweight/warm weather down bag X
PHD Hispar 400 2-3 season down X
Alpkit Pipedream 800 UK cold weather winter down
PHD Hispar 800 cold weather Down bag X
Snugpak jungle lightweight synthetic and ehm jungles X
Kestrel 2-3 season synthetic
Osprey winter synthetic.
Vango Venom 300 kept in car for spontaneous opportunities.

Rab ascent 500 & Vango Venom 225 are both spares and to lend to guests/friends
The wife also has the ones marked with an X (in diddy sizes) together with a Hispar 600 for cold UK winter, I'd like one as well but just can't justify it over the Pipedream for the use it gets.
We also have various liners so we can take one bag for travelling across climates.

Synthetic: Jack Murphy Supralite 900 - which I've just realised I've had for 20 years. I'm getting old. (indoor bag)
Down: KIMM superlite something (summer camping)
Down: Mountain Equipment Dreamcatcher 750 (winter camping)
Jerven Thermo Hunter (outdoor loafing)

Also the Alpkit Hunka and army bivvies, for summer and winter respectively

That's me lot!

Heck, don't all of us have about 5-6 sleeping bags in our collections?

I have sleeping bags from poncho liners, all the way to -35F Goretex down sleeping bags, in 10-12 degree increments....

Until resently I only had cheap summer sleeping bags. That cost me around 20£ each. Don't need myuch for sleeping in a tent in summer. If need be I'd use them inside my Jerven bag.
BUt 3 weeks ago I got a real monster of a winter bag. The Norwegian "Jan Mayen" by Isbjørn. Comfort temp -22*C - Extreme temp -40*C. And weighing 3 kilos, witha volume that is just enourmous packed.

Lars Monsen used this bag when he crossed Canada by dog sled and canoe.

Her is some pictures:
