This video is from the Survival Russia YouTube channel.

A some interesting angles here are the use of brass shells that have been in service a long time, some for a very long time. Seating the primers with a spoon was unique. Something interesting and very old school was the use of sawdust for wads. Not only is it cheap, but unlike plastic wads, sawdust wadding is immune to the insane cold of the Russian winter. All in all, that tip alone could be useful.

Now this one is from Dave Canterbury showing just how crudely you can reload a 12ga shell on a tree stump. This video is from his 21st Century Long Hunter series of videos. With American bushcrafters a very common, almost must have item with many, is the venerable H&R Topper 12ga break action single shot.

This one is Dave Canterbury again showing how to modify a 12ga all brass hull to take a 209 shotgun shell primer. The all brass Brazilian made Magtech hulls (the most common all brass hull in N. America these days), like most all brass shotgun hulls, are made to use a large pistol primer, not the same 209 primer that a plastic hull uses.
