I'm not sure if this has already been done but I thought I would give this thread a go. I'm just a beginner and only have been tying my own flies for about a year and a half, so there is much to explore and learn. Here are a few pictures of me at the vise and the results. I have attempted a Pale Morning Dun dry fly and a Mahogany Mayfly Nymph in these photos. Please share some of your own hand tied flies.

There's such an amount of work and skill that goes into these tiny wee scraps of fishy temptation :)

If anyone this side of the pond wants natural fibres, I have naturally dyed fleece as well as a huge assortment of natural fibres. Everything from goat hair to silk.
Happy to put some in an envelope if required.

I love tying flies. Haven’t done any for a long time now, nor any fishing for that matter but I’m rather partial to a bit of evening dry fly and stealthy nymphing on quiet secluded lakes.
I’ve been wanting to tie again and plan on doing some north country spiders and a bit of small stream fishing in the Peak District

ETA: flies looking good! I like the look of both, great natural look

I've tied a handful of spiders/soft hackle wet flies and I do like that style of fly very much. I would love to see some of your work, underground, if you are so inclined to post some pictures of them.

ejtrent, beautiful trout and grayling in your pictures. I tie a similar streamer to the one you picture a couple of different variations of a fly known as a Golden Retriever. Thank you for sharing your photos.
