Resource for identifying laverbread

Hi this might be quite localised to South Wales but I would like to get a guide to identify the seaweed types specifically for making laverbread.

My grandfather taught me how recognise the right seaweeds but its now 20 years since his passing and i have lost the knowledge.

That's a really good site that, I've stumbled across it several times. For books I can recommend the River Cottage handbook No5 "Edible Seashore" or our own Fraser Christian's "Eat the Beach"

Yep me too. My grandfather would make his own though and collect it when we went fishing. I want to do the same, should have paid more attention to what he was doing.
