I was lucky enough to be hosted to a quick overnight camp at Brockwell Wood by Bopdude, I’d never been before....

We had agreed to meet there on Saturday lunchtime, weather forecast was dry but cold with the likely hood of a frost overnight.

    Steaks on .......

Well fed and a few beers later saw the temperature drop and it was time for bed........

Morning has broken and no frost overnight , we had both slept well .......

A quick brew and the remains of the stew followed by a bit of exploration for future camping spots and then a steady pack up ready for departure.......

All in all a great trip to a new location (for me) in the North East of England, some great company and a fantastic bit of stew .....Thanks to Bopdude for hosting .......

Need to check out that place as it's not too far from me. What do they charge for hammocking?
