Having just sold my boat, I have an ocean leisure liferaft available, I bought it new in 2010 never been serviced as never been activated thankfully.
If anyone’s interested I would swap for GB small forest axe plus other kit.
I think I paid about 500-600 £ for it back then...
Mods hope it’s ok to put up a non BC item
For a BC item.
Btw buyer would have to collect as it’s heavy.

It is important for such a safety item that it is serviced every 3 years, (deployed in anger or not) so its actually coming up to its 3rd service period (it is very likely that some components will need replacing, flares will certainly be out of date)

Cost of a service is typically £300 + VAT
Cost of postage is around £30.

I recently purchased a 2014 4x person liferaft (out of service) for £50 + £30 postage. It cost me £300 + VAT + new flares and 1st aid kit total of £450, but it was worth it as it was a category A 'Solas' liferaft.

I would respectfully suggest that it would be better to give it the kids / grandkids / neighbours kids to use as a paddling pool
