Inspirational!
The winter winds have given the coup de grace to the willow hurdles I bought only four years ago. I was resigning myself to forking out for some over priced garden centre trellis. What a timely post. Of course I can make my own too, although I doubt they'll be up to your standard, but I just hadn't thought of it. And they'll be cheaper!

@oldtimer the hurdles that i made above from prepared timber are made from old roofing battens, brand new ones are dirt cheap and have a good lifetime on them, the rustic ones are made from Ash that i felled and then made the hurdles from, will last a long time and they are weathering wonderfully, but obviously lots more work involved.
