Over the past couple of years I've taken to medium rare Eisenhower as being my go to method for cooking steak.

For those that are not acquainted with the technique, steak cooked directly on glowing red embers.

I've also tried it the pork and abviously expect virtually all flash cook meats to be good for the method.

So I'm wondering what other foods could be cooked directly on the embers?

I've seen eggs done in the shells but I'm not a big fan of eggs.

I've always heard that called either "caveman steak" or "hobo steak."

What other foods can be cooked that way? I also (when camping) baked potatoes by burying them directly in the coals.
