Hi all,
Till now, I have not been able to come up with a way to realy conveniently
store droppers for a night line/bank line. I have given it quite some thought
but can't come up with any realy good way to make sure the lines do not get
tangled. I always manage to keep my lines knot free, yet I never felt comfortable
with the solutions I came up with. I have used a section of pipe isolation to push
the hooks in and tape the loop ends of the droppers to the same pipe isolation.
It's not ideal. The hooks can become undone because the isolation duct deforms
for example.

I like a reusable way.., lightweight and sturdy if possible, packsize is also important
to me... Any tips ideas! It is always difficult to store rigs/droppers. I remember that
from when I was a kid and did a lot of fishing. Anyone who knows a solution?

thanks in advance!

Store them the same as shop bought hooks to nylon. Make some hook lengths to required size, hook on one end and fixed loop on the other end. Coil the individual hook lengths around your fingers and push hook through loop to finish. Store in old/used hook packets, there is a bit of card in these packets so put one hook length either side of card to avoid tangles, in other words one packet will store two hook lengths one either side of card. Carry as many packets as necessary, five packets equals ten hook lengths. Alternatively just use an old/used hooks to nylon packet/wallet instead.

Thanks Joonsy, this definately is a simple way to economicaly (with regard
to packsize) store leaders. Hahaha, did not think about it at all. Like with
many simple solutions sometimes they don't come that easy. I can use
ziplock baggies because that's what I have laying around here. So simple yet
effective. And the hooks are pretty save this way. I love it..

Robbi, just out of curiosity how does these cast carriers work? Can it store
4 leaders? I can see it is possible to hook the hook onto it and how one can
wind the leader in the cuts. What I dont understand is how you make things
thight so it is secured though.

Hi guys, it is possible to buy fly cast carriers ,they are made from plastic or you can make your own out of square beer mats, just cut notches out and weave your dropper /cast in and out of the notches.
