Just chatting to a buddy of mine who will be coming along too.
He's wondering if we should make it a little bit christmasy themed and wants to bring his pyrography stuff.
We were also talking about cooking some meat and veg in a cooking pit with stones? - Anyone fancy that? We can keep them separate for the veggie types.

Hi chaps - sorry I've been a bit lax. I've just emailed Comrie. Currently working night shift so I can't call. I've asked if they can have us on the first or second weekend in December. Once I get a reply I'll let you know.
I should get ashore by Thursday so I'll give them a call and chase things up if I haven't had a reply by then.

Do people have a preference for dates? I'm leaning towards the first weekend personally.

Comrie have confirmed they're free for the first weekend in December. The cow shed however is being used and apparently the hall is now a shop.

I've said I'll arrive on the Saturday but if folks wish to arrive on the Friday then that's fine.

I had hoped to have use of the hall to do a little trading, but beyond that yeah pretty much. Bring what ever you want and have a bit of a play. I'll probably be bringing some blacksmithing kit for a bit of a bash but nothing major.

I wish I could join you!
The wife and I stayed for a couple of nights on our way up to Orkney in the Spring and liked it a lot.
I can imagine that Comrie Croft plus a bunch of Bushcrafters would be excellent!
Have fun everyone!

In an ugly twist of fate I have been called away offshore for an unexpected job. Which is just bloody typical.

Comrie have set aside the top field for us apparently. So you should head there after you arrive.

Hope you guys all have a good one.
