Theme = Braeriach's Brothers


(Cairn Toul & Angel's Peak, last Saturday. Image 1 is from the Lairig Ghru, just after the Pools of Dee (heading round before ascending from Corrour on to the ridge); image 2 is from Braeriach summit)

Theme - keeping warm

Ideal hats for bushcraft activities and hooching and wheeching about in the hills; the stranded pure wool to make the patterns gives a double thickness fabric, very, very warm. Style is the traditional Fairisle kep.

A friend turned up camping this week with a couple of parrots.. One with a black tail (an infection killed its red tail apparently) and one with a red tail...
Not quiet twins but close enough and rarely seen in France.
