I received 2 kind answers from 2 of you regarding picking me up from Bridgend railway station on Friday (my train arrives at 1.06 pm).

But neither answer was definite. So I start worryina bit as I don't have a clue how else I can reach our camp unless I get a lift there (don't know how costly the taxi would be and what to tell the taxi driver about destination).

Thanks for being of assistance and send me a pm with your reply!

Oh Well,
I'm sorry that I can't be with you this coming weekend guys 'n' gals, commitments of work and all that. However I hope that the weather is kind to you, even if it is not then you can claim that your new skills were learnt in a more challenging environment.
Feel free to make me even more jealous than I am already by starting the "Excelent weekend" threads as soon as you get back.

Have a great time

If I cannot get a lift from Norfolk, I will also need to take a train. In regard to this, is there anybody who can pick me up from a train station? I need to do my research on the train stations in the vicinity. I'm hoping there is one near enough to walk from.

I'll be available on 07830112462 if anyone needs picking up from a station, there should be enough of us to get anyone that needs a lift.

Hope that helps

Still dont know if I'll be able to make it or not :(

Current plan if I can get away is to come down to Bridgend by train (from Manchester) on Sat morning. Walk to the site and then have to go back the same way on Sunday. Bummer. But at least I may be able to get one night in. Oh, well better luck for the next one I suppose.

If I make it down it will be nice to put faces to the people on the site. If not hope you all have a great weekend.

If you get there give me a call and I'll get you picked up, that would save you some time. It's a shame as I'm coming from Chorley today... :(

Yggdraggsil (or whatever), Weekend_Warrior and I will also be at the station at 16:06. I think the plan is to walk; thus far. It's only about 2 miles - assuming we don't get lost...

Have a great weekend folks, and we expect pictures! :)
cheers,

Finally got me other half to agree to let me take the camera. BIG memory card so lots of potential for pics and I have a load of spare web space so if any of you see me wandering about with a camera feel free to jump in front of it. I'll be posting all of them when I get home.
