    Excellent work, i am currently into restoring paraffin pressure stoves, just done a 00 and a 45, got another 45 and a primus 210 to do next. When i can find one at the right price i fancy a 111 or 8r, trouble is once done i want to keep them !!

    Hi, if you have access to a welding torch or small blowlamp, heat just the spot you need to drill to cherry red and drill through it then. Not ideal but a method i have used on hardened steel before, but not a knife:)
